I starting coaching age grade rugby in 2016 and have continued with my youngest sons’s age group, currently U15’s, I am an ERCA qualified coach and a coaching coordinator.
Realising that, as players get older, the required standard for the person holding the whistle increases dramatically and a desire to see more of my eldest son’s games, I took my ERRA in 2019 and started refereeing all age grade and senior rugby.
Whilst my passion is still for age grade rugby, I love the challenge of making sure that 30+ adults remember why they are running around in shorts on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. All about #TREDS, it’s why I love rugby!
