I live in Malmesbury on the north side of the Dorset and Wiltshire region.
I started refereeing in 2018 focussing on supporting Junior age groups and progressing to achieving the England Rugby Referee Award in the 2021-22 season. I regularly attend the D&W Referee Society training events to learn from others.
I have maintained an emphasis on refereeing Junior matches, (I also coach and there’s only so much you can do in a weekend!). My belief is that Juniors train week in week out and deserve to have qualified referees as much as any other players.
I’ve been around rugby all my life and have three sons all of whom have played for Chippenham, Minety Colts and also when at University.
Together with rugby, I‘m a keen tennis player and enjoy dinghy sailing. I also have an eclectic taste in music and play a few instruments. Happy to talk about these interests post match as well as rugby!
